The New Integrity House Website!

Integrity House will be launching our new website on July 1st! The new website will feature rotating front page stories, a ‘contact us’ box, interactive job postings, detailed intake information and a ‘results and successes’ page. TC1 Men Car Wash

The guys of TC1 in Newark are hosting a car wash today to raise money to buy birth certificates for those who don’t have one. It costs $25 per birth certificate and they’re charging $5 per car. The guys will be outside from 11-4pm today washing cars.

4th of July Fireworks

Thanks to Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs and the Past, Present & Future Gala committee members, a unique and exciting fundraising event was held aboard Yankee Ferry.  Guests had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for front row seats to the Macy’s July 4th fireworks extravanganza while at the same time supporting the work of Integrity House.

Congressman Payne Visits Integrity House

On June 21st, Congressman Donald Payne, of Essex and Hudson Counties, visited Integrity House to meet with Ed Lyons, Dave Kerr and Darrell Terry.

Integrity Pride Softball Team

The Integrity Pride Softball Team played a game yesterday in almost 95 degree heat against the Brick City Dodgers at Branchbrook Park in Newark. After a hard game, they lost 17-12. The team has another game next Tuesday against CURA – our neighbors in Lincoln Park.

Guest Speakers at Secaucus High School

July 19th, 2010

Integrity House Secaucus was asked to provide speakers for a presentation on June 22nd and 25th at Secaucus Middle School and Secaucus High School.  The theme of barbecue was alcohol and drug prevention and the dangers of drinking and driving. DARE, Partners-in-Prevention, the Police and Fire Department and Secaucus Municipal Alliance were also present. The Mayor of Secaucus sponsored the event.

During 4th of July weekend, The Yankee Ferry in Hoboken, NJ will be hosting a fundraiser for Integrity House. On July 3rd, there will be an arts and boutique fair. Watch the fireworks from the boat on July 4th for $50. A portion of the craft sales and all proceeds from the fireworks are going to benefit Integrity House.

Father’s Day at Integrity House

This past weekend, the student-members at Integrity House celebrated Father’s Day with a cookout in both Newark and Secaucus. Money was raised to have the event by a car wash in Newark in early May. Both locations were able to celebrate with their children and it was a great event for all of the guys.
